When Aston Martin unveiled the Vantage GT3 at the Geneva Motor Show, Porsche wasn't best pleased. Apparently it has owned the rights to the 'GT3' name since 1999 and so instructed the British carmaker to change it or face an expensive lawsuit. It took a while, but Aston finally relented last month, and has made the new name official with this slick new video. Oh yeah, the name: It's now called the Aston Martin Vantage GT12.
Only 100 of these are slated for production. Hopefully the new name won't affect sales.
