Caterham’s topless beauty will be redesigned, adding a windscreen and roof.
Specialist lightweight English carmaker Caterham is set to rethink its AeroSeven concept after receiving customer feedback in certain key markets. That's according to Autocar who said that while the doorless, windowless, and roofless concept drew plenty of attention after its initial launch, hardcore enthusiasts are looking for more practicality from the two-seat speedster.
Beyond the additions, Caterham plans to rethink the AeroSeven’s snout to create a new front end design. The final product should be available in dealerships, including the brand’s new US network, as a model year 2015. Caterham, originally launched in 1973, is centered on its “add lightness” philosophy, which it will attempt to integrate with the new demands of its customers.
