As it prepares the launch of its 4C coupe and its reentry into America, Alfa Romeo has announced this special 4C Launch Edition, which will be limited to 1,000 units worldwide. Of those 1,000, 500 cars have been earmarked for the North American market, with 400 remaining in Europe and the last 100 headed to other global markets. The limited edition will add a carbon fiber body kit, carbon spoiler and enhanced suspension, and will be available in Alfa Red or Carrera White.

With a 240 horsepower 1.75-liter engine, the 4C seen here is number 87 of the series, and received a special photoshoot by C-J Cars Photography. As we have previously reported, Alfa Romeo is set to debut the 4C at this month's New York Auto Show, followed by initial, limited sales in the US starting in June of this year.
