2018 Geneva Motor Show

Alfa Romeo Will Bring A Bunch Of Special Editions To Geneva

The Italians know how to do a good special edition.

The 2018 Geneva Motor Show is still a few days away, but Alfa Romeo has already revealed special edition versions of its models in anticipation. The Stelvio Quadrifoglio NRING and Giulia Quadrifoglio NRING models feature a unique color called Circuito Grey and carbon fiber accents on the exterior, celebrating the Nurburgring lap records set by the Stelvio SUV and the Giulia sedan. Both cars will also have black wheels with carbon ceramic brakes and wear special NRING badges.

On the interior, the NRING edition cars will feature carbon fiber Sparco racing seats with red stitching and feature a numbered plaque. Alfa Romeo will only build 108 examples of each to celebrate the brand's 108th birthday. Alongside the NRING edition cars, Alfa Romeo has also released the Stelvio Super Trim with the new Performance Pack. Unlike the NRING, which only comes on the 2.9-liter V6 QV version, the Super Trim is available on the 2.0-liter four-cylinder Stelvio. The Super Trim adds a leather-wrapped dashboard and leather door trim.

The biggest addition is the Performance Pack, which adds a new Alfa Active Suspension (also available separately as optional equipment). This suspension package includes a self-locking rear mechanical differential and paddle shifters machined from aluminum. Finally, Alfa Romeo has released two new versions of the 4C sports car. The 4C Competizione is based on the coupe and comes in a matte Vesuvio Grey exterior with a carbon fiber roof and rear spoiler. The look is finished off with red brake calipers, an Akrapovic exhaust, and 18-inch or 19-inch black wheels.

Inside, the 4C Competizione features leather seats with microfiber inserts and color contrast stitching. It will also have a numbered plaque and a "Competizione" badge on the dashboard. The 4C Italia is based on the Spider and is painted in a lovely shade of Misano Blue, which can also be ordered on the Giulia and Stelvio. It too has an Akrapovic exhaust and features a “Spider Italia” sticker behind the doors. The interior is similar to the Competizione, but uses yellow stitching.
