Porsche is onto a winner. For the 2014 LA Auto Show, the German carmaker created a special edition Panamera and all 100 units have been snapped up within just 48 hours of going on sale. The Porsche Panamera Turbo S Executive Exclusive Edition, created by the firm's in-house Executive division, was priced at a whopping $264,895 a piece, and the only mistake Porsche made was not making more. But it won't be making that mistake again.

Speaking with Autocar, Porsche's head of research and development, Wolfgang Hatz, said. "We have tested the appetite for such a car, and we have tested some suppliers to ensure they can deliver. We have learned from the project, and I'm sure we will do more in future." Based on the longer wheelbase Turbo S Executive, the Panamera Exclusive Series boasts a unique two-tone body color that combines deep black metallic with chestnut brown metallic, which is manually painted by hand. 20-inch Sport Class alloys and front air inlet grilles feature the same deep black metallic paint, while the cabin comes swathed in Poltrona Frau leather, Black milled Nappa leather, and sports an Agatha Chestnut Brown color and rear-seat multimedia screens.
