The Bentley Flying Spur has slowly faded into obscurity after being separated from the Continental GT line back in 2015. Only 274 chose to buy one in 2017, which is why Bentley has been teasing an all-new model with an awesome, three dimensional, textured leather technology used in the interior. The full reveal of the Flying Spur is set for June 11, 2019, but before then, Bentley has provided a few pictures of the car with practically no camouflage. We also get a fresh glimpse at the car undergoing high-speed performance testing in a new video (found below).

The new design doesn't take a drastic departure from the old car, though we know the production car will feature a new Bentley 'B' hood ornament that is absent in the video. We don't see much of the new interior but we do learn that the Flying Spur will have all-wheel steering to enhance high-speed stability and improve maneuverability around town.

During high-speed maneuvers, the system can steer the rear wheels in the same direction as the front wheels to provide more assurance during lane changes. As with previous incarnations of the car, this third-generation model is all-wheel-drive but for the first time ever, drive goes to the rear only until slip is detected.

It still isn't clear which engine the Flying Spur will debut with, but based on the growling exhaust in the video, we'd say a 4.0-liter twin-turbo is likely. If it's the same engine used in the Continental GT, the output should be around 542 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque.

We know Bentley is also working on a V6-powered plug-in hybrid variant and the company's 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 will likely be an option as well. No matter which engine sits under the hood, we expect the Flying Spur to be one of the smoothest and most comfortable sedans on the road. Look out for the full reveal in just a couple of weeks' time.
