America, Here's The Cascada; Your First Buick Convertible In 25 Years

Reveal

It really does look better in person. Honestly.

Buick has just revealed its new Cascada, the very first Buick convertible to be sold in the US for 25 years. OK, so maybe it is a rebadged Opel, but it’s still a convertible done right. Power comes courtesy of a turbocharged 1.6-liter four banger with 200 hp and 221 lb-ft of torque, and paired to a six-speed automatic. The roof collapses via an electro-hydraulic, multilayer system which may add weight, but this isn’t a performance car. It’s a fine Buick droptop that looks even better in person, especially those swooping body panel lines and chrome wheels.
