The Tesla Model S P85D has become somewhat of a celebrity on the drag strip as of late. The electric sedan gets off the line insanely quick and is capable of putting a lot of cars to shame in the quarter mile. The Corvette C7 Stingray is not "a lot" of cars. The Vette manages to get the jump off of the line and gets a small lead over the Tesla before things start to get interesting. It's hard to keep a lead on an all-wheel drive car with 691 horsepower.

We have watched these two battle before, and this race has the same outcome as the last one. Okay, so that last race featured a Model S P85 (not P85D). Regardless, the result is the same.
