This is undoubtedly one of the quickest 12Cs in the US.

After gaining access to the ECU of the McLaren 12C, AMS Performance developed an engine tune that provides significant gains throughout the supercar's entire rpm range. The result of the modifications to the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8's computer is a maximum output of 716 hp and 601 lb-ft of torque, up from the stock 12C's figures of 616 hp and 476 lb-ft. Putting those numbers to the test, the McLaren was recently taken to the Palm Beach International Raceway.

Running on 93 octane and a set of Nitto drag radials, the 12C put down a 10.1-second quarter mile at 138 mph, making it the quickest recorded 12C over this distance. 0-60 mph was recorded at 2.71 seconds, 0-100 mph in 5.59 and 100-150 mph in 6.68 seconds. Check out the blistering run here.
