AMS-Tuned 700-HP E63 AMG Makes Eleven 10-Sec Runs in One Night

Quarter Mile

That's what you call consistency.

Tuning house AMS Performance arrived at the Great Lakes Dragway to make some test runs of its Alpha 7 Mercedes E63 AMG 4matic, upgraded to 700 hp and a monstrous 830 lb-ft of torque. After a couple of quick runs in the tens, the tuner set themselves the challenge of making more than ten 10-second runs in order to test the consistency of its latest performance upgrade. Working long into the night, a total of eleven ten-second passes were made with a best of 10.87 seconds @ 128.28 mph.

Each of the 11 passes was within 0.99 seconds and 1.32 mph of each other, while incredibly all the 0-60 mph times were 2.86 seconds. Now that’s what you call consistency.
