You honestly won't be in the least bit surprised.
Every year the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) gets together to decide which new pickup truck is the best on the market. And as we all know, Texas has a love affair with pickups. Texans consistently make full use of what a truck's intended purpose is: a work vehicle that hauls around everything from scrap metal to construction materials. Perhaps that's why the state is the largest pickup truck market in the US. So without further ado, TAWA has just announced that the all-new 2015 Ford F-150 has won this year's award.
The announcement was made at TAWA's annual Truck Rodeo, where the F-150 went up against 75 vehicles from 18 brands. The F-150 also took home the prize for the Best Technology Feature thanks to its weight reducing aluminum body. And, for the record, the F-Series has won nine of the past 12 Truck of Texas awards.
