AMG S65 Coupe

Even when it is in AMG form, it's sort of odd to think of the Mercedes-Benz CL-Class as a car for tuning. The big coupe offers up a lot of power, although it is still very heavy and the styling is fairly understated. But Anderson Germany has managed to find a way to make tuning the CL65 AMG work. It wears a new matte grey paint job, new black wheels, carbon fiber wing mirrors and tinted taillight covers, all for a muted but still definitely tuned appearance.

The two-tone interior is a bit more extreme, but is still very well executed. Performance upgrades haven't been too extensive, and amount to a new intake and exhaust, new pulleys and a reprogrammed ECU, but all of this was still good for 49 extra horses. That brings the output from the 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 up to 670 horsepower and 780lb-ft of torque. Even with a car the size of the CL, that's a lot, and the 0-60 time is now down around 4 seconds, with the top speed hitting about 190mph. Anderson Germany has named this creation the Special Grey Stone Edition.
