The British market is set to receive the latest Mazda MX-5 special edition. Dubbed the Venture Edition, the new package will be available on the coupe and soft-top cabriolet. The Venture special editions will be available with a variety of unique colors, such as Crystal White Pearlescent, Metropolitan Gray Mica and Radiant Ebony Mica. Changes to the front end of the MX-5 Venture edition include fog lights, chrome front grille and piano black bars.

Sitting on a set of 17-inch alloy wheels, the interior features a leather steering wheel, alloy pedals, cruise control, satnav and Havana Brown heated leather seats for added luxury. Both the MX-5 coupe and cabrio versions will receive a 126hp 1.8-liter engine paired to a five-speed manual gearbox. It can run from 0-60mph in 9.9 seconds. Top speed is measured at 121mph. A more powerful 2.0-liter engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission will be available for the coupe. 0-60mph is measured in a quicker but none-too-impressive 7.9 seconds. A top speed of 136mph has been claimed by the Japanese automaker.

The Mazda MX-5 Venture edition prices at £18,995 for the 1.8-liter soft-top cabrio while the 2.0-liter coupe runs £22,285. Available in a limited run, only 550 units of the coupe will be produced while the soft-top model will even rarer, with only 250 units planned for production.
