The Arab world's first supercar was unveiled at the Qatar Motor Show last month, where fledgling carmaker W Motors revealed its Lykan Hypersport. Just a few weeks on and Beirut-based W Motors has revealed that over 100 orders for its two-seater supercar have already been taken. Not an astronomical number by most standards, until you realize that Arab supercar has been priced at $3.4 million - making it the world's most expensive production car.

It's also one of the fastest thanks to its 750 hp and 737 lb-ft of torque, helping it reach 62 mph in 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 245 mph. In any event, production is limited to seven cars. So members of the super-elite hoping to pilot the radical-looking twin-turbo flat-six-powered supercar from its gold-stitched leather seats and look out via its diamond-encrusted LED lights are going to be disappointed. The Lykan Hypersport will initially be assembled in Italy before production moves to the Middle East. Those that missed out will have to wait for the Supersport, the second car W Motors intends to sell for equally insane money.
