Premiering at the Guangzhou Auto Show this week, the 625C, McLaren's first regionally-tailored model, has been captured in the metal for the first time with Indian Autos Blog providing the snaps. The Asia-specific model is essentially a detuned 650S, offering "greater refinement" from the same 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine found in the 650S. Power output and performance numbers will be slightly lower for this model than in the 650S, with 616 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque, and a 0-62 mph time of 3.1 seconds.

Available as a Coupe or Spider, top speed stands at 207 mph and 204 mph respectively. McLaren says that the new 'C' stands for 'Club', with the carmaker enhancing the drivability and efficiency thanks to new dampers and a revised mechanical balance offering "the most refined ride of any McLaren model to date." The McLaren 625C will first hit Hong Kong showrooms with other Asia Pacific markets to follow.
