Spanish niche automaker Aspid is preparing to launch its second model as a follow-up to the existing Aspid Super Sport, and this is our best look at it yet. A more usably propositions to the Super Sport, the Aspid GT-21 Invictus is built around a 2+2 closed coupe design. With a 450-horsepower V8 sourced from BMW and a dry weight pegged at 990 kg, the GT-21 is tipped to rocket from 0-62 mph in less than three seconds - veritable hypercar territory - with a top speed over 187 mph.

The car is being built out of aircraft aluminum with open wheels and a twin-disc brake setup borrowed from the aforementioned Super Sport. A network of 20 dealers are at the ready to distribute the new GT-21 across Europe, with only 250 examples expected to be produced each year.
