Aston Martin Built A $1.2 Million Boat And It Is Epic

Yeah that's right, Aston Martin built a boat.

Last year Aston Martin revealed that it would partner with Quintessence Yachts and Mulder Design to build an ultra luxury boat called the AM37 that costs over $1.2 million, depending on trim. The boat is 37 feet long (hence the name), and is completely hand-built. The interior packs two captain chairs wrapped in leather from an Aston Martin road car. The boat has seating for up to eight people on the beautiful wood deck with more space on the below deck.

Climb downstairs and you will be treated to air conditioning, a bathroom, small kitchen, coffee machine, refrigerator, microwave, and a wood-trimmed table. There is also a electro-hydraulic roof that can protect you from the elements.

The base AM37 comes with a pair of 370 horsepower Mercury diesels with a total of 740 hp. There is also an option for a 860 hp version of these engines. The AM37S comes with twin Mercury gas racing engines with a combined 1,040 hp. The AM37S can hit 50 knots (around 60 mph), which is very fast for a boat. Auto Express was able to test the AM37S in Monaco, where no doubt it will eventually be housed.
