As we reported a few weeks back, Aston Martin revealed their slightly refreshed 2012 V8 Vantage at the Geneva Motor Show. Upon first glance, it's hard to see what exactly the automaker did to the car's exterior, however, styling changes were made to the front and rear bumpers. But the best changes took place underneath the hood. In the past, the base V8 Vantage has been criticized for not having enough power. Aston Martin got the hint and later launched the Vantage S (not to mention the Vantage V12).

Fortunately, the automaker has improved the base V8 Vantage that's now good for a total of 420hp. They've also added the Vantage S's quicker steering ratio, larger brakes, wider tires, and even an optional seven-speed Sportshift II gearbox.

And in this latest video from Aston Martin, they want us to clearly know that the refreshed V8 Vantage looks and sounds as good as ever. Quite honestly, little convincing was required.
