Just in time for the Geneva Motor Show, Aston Martin has taken the wraps off a pair of special edition models based on the DB9 and V8 Vantage. Dubbed the V8 Vantage N430, Aston describes this special edition model as "GT4-inspired" and will offer it in both coupe and roadster form. It comes with the Vantage S' 424-hp 4.7-liter V8 and is good for a 0-60 mph time of 4.6 seconds and a 190 mph top speed.

A six-speed manual comes as standard with an optional seven-speed close-ratio automated manual. The N430 is 17 kg lighter than the Vantage S thanks to carbon-fiber trim, Kevlar seats and lightweight ten-spoke alloys. The interior also boasts carbon sill plaques, black magnesium paddle shifters, a smattering of carbon fiber and Alcantara, and an optional B&O sound system. The 'Club Sport Graphics Pack' is an obvious nod to the carmaker's CC100 Speedster concept. The N430 goes on sale in the summer priced from £89,995.

Aston Martin will also unveil the DB9 Carbon Black and Carbon White in Geneva. The limited edition models use strong body colors to contrast the carbon-fiber detailing, and come fitted with 20-inch ten-spoke alloys, a carbon-fiber splitter, mirror caps and rear diffuser, as well as windows with black surrounds. Prices are available upon request from Aston dealers.
