Vanquish Coupe

Having recently bolstered their lineup with the new Vanquish and V12 Vantage Roadster, it appears Aston Martin are in the process of fine tuning their new cars before shipping them out to customers.

Caught here practically undisguised, the V12-powered cars were testing at the Nurburgring and although there is nothing new to glean from these videos, they look and sound superb, which is good enough for us. The two-door Vanquish, available in 2+0 and 2+2 seating configuration is powered by a 5.9-liter V12 capable of 565 hp and 457lb-ft of peak torque.

The front-mid mounted V12 is mated to the same six-speed automatic slushbox as was in the DBS, and is capable of shifting the coupe from 0 to 62 mph in 4.1 seconds en route to a top speed of 183 mph. The open-top Vantage Roadster gets the same 6.0-liter V12 that powers the existing coupe driving 510 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque through a six-speed manual to the rear wheels. With well-delivered gear changes, sprinting to 62 mph should take no more than 4.5 seconds, and with the pedal to the metal the speedo will eventually hit 190 mph.
