565-V12 Roadster is the fastest Aston has ever made.
Last month, Aston Martin unveiled its fastest and most powerful production convertible in history, the V12 Vantage S Roadster. And the carmaker has just announced the car will make its public debut on August 14 as part of the Pebble Beach festivities. The drop-top beast’s 6.0-liter V12 will produce 565hp and 457 lb-ft of torque, and come mated to a seven-speed Sportshift III transmission, helping it to sprint from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 201 mph.
Like the Vantage S Coupe, the Roadster's exterior features carbon-fiber parts with black or titanium accents, a ventilated hood and a new aggressive grille. Inside, new carbon trim package is optional, in addition to numerous Q customization options for bespoke finishing. The V12 roadster will be joined by Aston’s DP-100 Vision Gran Turismo prototype, which will make its North American debut at the prestigious event.
