Aston Martin Vanquish and Rapide S Upgraded for 2015

Receives styling, performance and fuel economy upgrades.

With some new products from Aston Martin already announced and others being heavily talked about, the company has also been hard at work revamping its existing lineup. 2015 tweaking has focused on the Rapide S and Vanquish, providing a few styling updates and upgrades to performance and fuel economy numbers. Both models receive new 10-spoke forged alloy wheels, new paint choices and updated interior materials including additional options.

More importantly for drivers, a new Touchtronic III eight-speed automatic transmission has been added, lowering 0-60 mph times by half a second to 4.1 (Vanquish) and 4.2 seconds (Rapide S). Furthermore, both cars now have a top speed of 200 mph. The company also promises that this new gearbox will offer 13 percent higher fuel economy in the Rapide S, and a 7 percent improvement in the Vanquish. A revised exhaust system raises the Vanquish's output to 568 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque, with the Rapide S delivering 552 and 465 respectively.
