The newest season of "Top Gear" has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons, but the same can't be said of "The Grand Tour." The hosts of the new Amazon show have been lighting up social media with updates on its progress. The latest update comes from Jeremy Clarkson's official Facebook page. He shared a photo of an Aston Martin DB11, Rolls-Royce Dawn and Dodge Challenger Hellcat. The accompanying caption read: "So. Let the weirdest comparison test of them all....begin Grand Tour."

You don't even have to know anything about cars to know that these three vehicles aren't comparable. One is an ultra-rare and expensive luxury convertible, the other is a luxury grand tourer and then you have the new symbol of American muscle. But one of the things we loved about the old "Top Gear" was its ridiculous comparison segments that usually were wrapped around a road trip. The cars in these scenes were always cool, but the best part was seeing how they reflected the personality of the men behind the wheel. Jeremy Clarkson loves going fast in British cars. James May loves leisurely (slow) rides. And everyone knows Richard Hammond has a soft spot for brutish American cars.

Internet detectives have confirmed what many already guessed as soon as this photo was posted. The DB11 is Clarkson's, May is in the Rolls-Royce and Hammond is piloting the Hellcat. The trio is currently filming in Italy, which means we should get to see some stunning views of the countryside from three very different cars. Can Amazon just air the damn show already?!
