With the RC F's 500 horsepower V8 and a competitive price tag.
Though we told you about it as early as last year, there hasn't been much news of late regarding Lexus's intention to build the GS F, the so-called BMW M5-fighter packing the RC F's V8 and tuned to deliver approximately 500 horsepower. Now, according to Autocar, it seems that the Japanese are planning to bring this car to market as early as next year as a 2016 model, with a host of performance upgrades that should make it an interesting competitor in its class, especially at its rumored price.
The report indicates that the GS F will receive the 500-hp V8 engine, along with an eight-speed ZF transmission, Torsen limited-slip differential and more, all combining to move the car from zero to sixty in the four second range. Pricing for the GS F is rumored to start at 80,000 pounds. The car could be revealed as early as the 2015 Detroit or Geneva motor shows.
