When original owner Lyle Mader ordered his Camaro Z28 back in 1969, he basically checked every box on the options list, creating a maximum performance and visual example of what is widely considered to be the ultimate Chevy pony car. With a dual cross ram induction system, two Holley 4-barrel carburetors, two-piece aluminum intake manifold and special hood, a Muncie M22 r-speed manual and many more performance options, the car's Cross Ram 302/290 HP V8 engine was set up to fly.

But Mader also custom ordered this Carolina Blue color and full-length racing stripes, in addition to tinted glass, a fold-down rear seat, headlight washer and a host of other appearance and luxury options. The car is in original condition and has only been repainted once. It will be up for auction at Mecum's Spring Classics in May, and is expected to fetch between $250,000 and $400,000.
