Audi A1 Quattro Rips Up Gravel All the Way to 160mph

Video

The Audi A1 Quattro looks like one German hatchback.

The limited edition Audi A1 Quattro is one hot little hatch. At first glance the German model doesn't look like anything spectacular, however with a 2.0-liter TFSI engine rated at 252hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, fun looks like its middle name.

Sport Auto Magazine from Germany took one of these models out for a spin on a gravel path through the forest and hit an impressive 160mph (258km/h on the clock). Four-wheel-drive gives the A1 Quattro some extra control on the slick surface and it performed quite well. Audi is building only 333 units of the A1 Quattro and Sport Auto's Christian Gebhardt was lucky enough to pilot this bad boy to some impressive speeds on a very tricky surface.
