Audi specialist ABT Sportsline has gone back to the A3 premium hatchback, giving it a more comprehensive going-over following its previous AS3 package. In terms of visual enhancements, ABT's aero package is made up of a front spoiler with central lip spoiler, a front grille with vertical bars and black mesh, a large roof spoiler, side skirts, and rear diffuser with apertures for the pair of dual pipes. ABT also offers a choice of 18- and 19-inch alloys. Of course ABT is not the kind of tuner to leave the engine alone, with enhancements offered across the range.

Performance upgrades have also been made across the range. ABT's Power Kit bumps output of the 1.4 TFSI from 140 to 170 horsepower and takes the 2.0-liter TFSI from 220 to 280 hp, while the 2.0-liter TDI is boosted to either 210 or 180 hp, depending on the model.
