German tuner ABT Sportline has given the Audi Q3 crossover a sporty upgrade. The most visually enticing feature of the latest tuning package is the custom front grille. The air inlets were expanded on the new front bumper, which accompanies the rocker panels, rear apron and roof spoiler. 18- or 20-inch wheel options help round out the exterior upgrades. ABT have also provided the Q3 with some power upgrades with several options for both motor types.

TDI motors deliver a performance of 170hp for the 2.0 version where the 177hp version increases to 195hp. TSI versions churn out 210hp or 250hp for the 211hp 2.0 versions. There will also be lowered sports suspension when the ABT Q3 is released. The 2012 Audi Q3 is slated to go on sale in Germany later this year with three different four-cylinder engines, including a TDI diesel and two TFSI gasoline units. All three engines will be using direct-injection with turbocharging along with an energy recovery system and a start-stop system.

The diesel will come equipped with a front-wheel-drive system mated to a six-speed manual, while the two TFSI variants are set to receive quattro-all-wheel-drive mated to a seven-speed S tronic automatic transmission. No plans have been announced to bring the Audi Q3 to the US as of yet.
