The performance tuner has done the business under the hood as well as adding some carbon-fiber parts.
Performance tuner Chiptuning has unveiled its latest aftermarket package based on the Audi R8. Visually, the German tuner added a carbon-fiber front lip and rear diffuser, borrowed taillights from the R8 GT, and gave the supercar a coat of Phantom Black Metallic. The main focus, however, was directed on the engine and transmission. By remapping the ECU, output was bumped to 620 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque, while the software optimization of the R tronic gearbox has resulted in rapid gear changes. For improved handling, Chiptuning also added a KW "magnetic ride" suspension.
