There are few cars than can make a grown man weep. This is one of them. Since its introduction in 2006, the R8 has taken its rightful place amongst exotic cars. What sets it apart is the fact that it can be utilized as a daily driver. Indeed, the Quattro all-wheel drive system gives the driver a close feeling between themselves and the road. With its 4.2 liter V8, it produces over 400 horsepower and you'll find yourself going from zero to 60 in 4.4 seconds.

There are two transmission choices: the standard 6-speed manual taken from the Lamborghini Gallardo and a 6-speed single-clutch semi-automatic, which Audi calls R tronic. Inside you'll find the typical Audi build quality we've come to expect with the brand. Caution when driving as you may soon believe that NASA developed their very own road car. I'd say you're not very far off.
