Audi R8 Juiced to 707 HP by xXx Performance

Tuning

More power for Audi’s halo car is gratefully accepted.

German tuning house xXx Performance has something of a soft spot for the Audi R8 and its latest project for the everyday supercar is based on the 4.2 FSI variant. In stock form, this particular R8 comes with 420 hp and 317 lb-ft of torque. Working with Chiptrick, the tuner built a twin-turbo system with Garret turbochargers, a bespoke charge-air cooler and custom exhaust. Three stages of tune are offered, from 590 hp and 487 lb-ft through 640 hp and 498 lb-ft to the range-topping 707 hp and 597 lb-ft of torque variant.

With over 700 hp on tap, the R8 can now sprint from 0-62 mph in 3.6 seconds and takes just 10.6 seconds to reach 124 mph. 0-186 mph is clocked in 15.8 seconds and top speed is electronically limited at 194 mph. Modest styling upgrades include 20-inch Oxigin 14 Oxrock alloys and carbon-fiber front spoiler flaps and fins.
