The Audi R8 is a fine-lookin' car by all accounts, but if everyone in your neighborhood already has one and you're the extroverted type (which is a pretty safe assumption if you're driving a supercar), there are plenty of aftermarket customizers out there to help set yours apart. The latest comes from Regula Tuning, which has released the Grandiose body kit you see here. The kit is constructed of a type of fiberglass made with aramid, a polymer used in the aerospace and military industries for ballistic protection.

We're not sure why you'd need a bulletproof spoiler, but regardless of what it's made of, the look is not for the faint of heart. It's also fitted with a set of 20-inch Origin wheels that measure 8.5 inches wide at the front and 11 at the back and look something like a roulette wheel. The kit will set you back €7,698, but that's just a drop in the bucket when you're dealing with a $150,000+ supercar. A non-specific power upgrade takes the 5.0-liter V10 from 525 horsepower in stock form up to 560 - the same as the top-of-the-line R8 GT or R8 Plus.
