Audi is making great progress with its e-tron range of electric vehicles. In fact, the company has already built 100,000 vehicles with the e-tron name, and after the recent reveal of the A6 e-tron concept, it seems that loads more electric stunners are on the way. But the first production Audi EV to feature the e-tron name is, uh, the Audi e-tron, and although it's already quite an impressive vehicle with innovative features, the people in Ingolstadt have decided that it needs a little more style. With that in mind, Audi has revealed the e-tron S line Black Edition, a more stylish version of the e-tron S line.

So what do we have here? At the front, the Singleframe grille is now black, as are the grille badge and wing mirror caps. The e-tron badges get the same treatment while the 21-inch wheels are once again a color-free finish. Contrasting with these dark wheels are orange brake calipers. As for the body, paint comes in Chronos Gray, Glacier White, and Mythos Black. The exterior look is completed by tinted rear windows and puddle lights projecting the words "e-tron black edition" onto the pavement when you open the door. Both the regular e-tron and the e-tron Sportback get this treatment, as well as changes to the cabin.

Those interior changes are added to the regular S line interior and include black sport seats with the armrests and seatbelts in an orange that emulates the shade seen on the brake calipers. The center of the seats as well as the inlays of the door cards are finished in a new Dinamica microfiber material made of 45 percent recycled polyester like that of PET bottles while the instrument panel gets a leatherette with carbon inlays. However, if you prefer cowhide, Valcona leather is also offered for the seats and door cards.

The Black Edition package is available for both 50 quattro and 55 quattro variants of the e-tron, with the former starting at the equivalent of $97,000 and the latter starting at $112,000.
