It also looks to be about a mile long.
Audi's latest version of the Prologue concept has just been unveiled ahead of its official unveiling. The car will obviously be shown in the metal at the Geneva Motor Show, but we got a teaser of the concept recently and now we have these photos, so we've got a pretty good idea of what it looks like. The concept is taller, longer and wider than the coupe concept it's based off, but by less than an inch in each direction. The body is now something like what Mercedes would call a shooting brake, but which is essentially a wagon.
While the coupe had first a V8 producing 597 horsepower and then a V8 mated to a hybrid system good for 668 horsepower, this more practical concept shares the hybrid drivetrain with the Q7, good now for 449 horsepower. And while a production version would likely offer this as an option, there would definitely be others offered as well. This is actually a diesel hybrid system, obviously designed to give big cars like this and the Q7 good fuel economy numbers, but it also offers a lot of torque, and the concept has a theoretical 0-60 mph time of 5.1 seconds. We're looking forward to seeing it at the show, and we'll bring you more news as we get it.
