Commemorating Italian racecar driver Tazio Nuvolari.
Audi has just introduced a limited-run edition of the TT, designated only for the Italian market and paying tribute to one of the country's great racing legends, Tazio Nuvolari. Available exclusively in Daytona Gray, the special TT features Nuvolari badging and the S-Line package that adds longer side-skirts, sport bumpers and 19-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the black leather seats feature Nuvolari floor mats and sill plates, with a numbered plaque located on the center console.
Starting at 51,900 Euros, the Italian special edition will be limited to 100 units and feature Audi's 2.0-liter TDI four-cylinder engine. Mated to a six-speed manual, the engine can move the car from 0-62 mph in a leisurely 7.1-seconds on its way to a top-speed of 149 mph – apparently enough to honor the memory of Nuvolari in Audi's mind.
