Based on the flagship Q8 SUV, the Audi RS Q8 is Audi's fastest and most powerful SUV ever. Powering this beast is a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 with a mild hybrid system that produces a monumental 591 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. This setup enables the RS Q8 to rocket from 0-62 mph in just 3.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 155.3 mph.

Add some RS ceramic brakes, and the top speed increases to 189.5 mph. Not bad for an SUV that weighs over 5,000 pounds. If you need proof of Audi's performance claims, you can watch one owner take the RS Q8 for a speed run on the German autobahn.

If, however, those specifications aren't enough for you, aftermarket tuner ABT Sportsline is at your service. The tuner has revealed a new performance package for the RS Q8 that increases the output to 700 horsepower and 649 lb-ft of torque thanks to an ABT Engine Control unit. That's 109 more hp than the stock version.

ABT hasn't said how this upgrade affects the performance, but it's probably safe to say the modified RS Q8 will be quicker off the line. ABT is also offering the same performance package for the Audi RS6 and RS7, while a separate upgrade is available for the compact RS4.

In stock form, the RS4's 2.9-liter V6 pumps out 450 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque, but ABT's upgrade increases the output to 510 hp and 486 lb-ft. ABT also offers a selection of aluminium wheels, while additional interior options, aerodynamic components, and suspension upgrades will be available at a later date.

"I look forward to every new RS model, because the series undoubtedly represents the sporty pinnacle of the Audi range", said company CEO Hans-Jurgen Abt: "As such, I am excited to find out how much higher we can raise the bar".
