Last year the Audi RS5 received a number of updates, including a wider and flatter Singleframe grille, new air vents positioned above the grille, and a redesign of the side sills and rear diffuser housing the dual exhaust system. These small changes added a lot of muscular appeal to an already aggressive looking car. In October, Audi announced two special editions for the Coupe and Sportback, namely the Ascari Launch Edition and Black Optic Launch Edition, which both added unique styling touches but there will always be those that want to stand out from the crowd. For those people, car styling icons ABT have just the answer.
ABT's new styling package for the 2021 Audi RS5 Coupe features tasteful touches such as wheelhouse ventilation with carbon-fiber fins, fender badges in glossy carbon fiber, and a carbon fiber rear spoiler available for both the Coupe and Sportback. This new look would not be complete without a set of wheels, and what a set it is. The ABT Audi RS5 rolls on a set of 20-inch GR concave alloy wheels with 10 spokes and glossy black finish with diamond polished lip. In terms of handling performance, ABT also offers height-adjustable suspension springs that lower the car by 0.9 inches, or a set of coilovers that drop the car by 1.3 inches. A set of thicker anti-roll bars are also available.
ABT has also touched on the RS5's powertrain: the car's 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine which produces a healthy 444 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque from the factory, has been upped to 503 hp and 501 lb-ft thanks to an ABT engine control unit, additional water radiator kit and air inlet cover. This improves the car's 0-62 mph times from 3.9 seconds, down to 3.6 seconds according to ABT. The interior of the ABT RS5 can be styled with carbon-fiber coated seat covers and dashboard side covers, full carbon fiber seat shells, and a carbon fiber and leather shift knob cover. The complete body kit package will cost you $23,900, while optional extras such as the power upgraded go for $2,760.
