Tesla isn't the only automaker pursuing large electric vehicles. Audi wants a pieceof the EV pie and is aiming to get it with its E-Tron Quattro Concept. The electricSUV has three electric motors—one in the front and two in the back— and a 95kWh battery pack for a combined output of 429 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. That’sa long way off from the Tesla Model X, but much better than other petrol-powered SUVs. Its 0 to 60 mph time is estimated at 4.6seconds and its range is pegged at 310 miles. Audi estimates a 50 minute charging time with a 150-kW DC charger.
