It's just so mind-blowingly fast that backseat passengers will be pinned down when you hit the gas.
For the record, the Audi RS 6 Avant is faster than a Porsche 911. Yes, a German-built wagon is more powerful than a German-built sports car. The current gen RS 6 Avant is powered by a twin-turbo V8 with 553 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. It has a top speed of 189 mph and a 0-60 mph time of just 3.9 seconds. Ridiculous doesn’t even begin to describe this thing. The RS6 Avant is also more powerful than anything in the Maserati lineup and even the Nissan GT-R. Yes, that’d be Godzilla.
So is the RS6 Avant the ideal machine for a car guy/gal to buy who also happens to have a family to cart around? Quite possibly, and now the guys at XCAR get behind the wheel of this power wagon for a little bit of fun.
