It may be big and awfully heavy, but the Audi S8 is one dangerously fast car.
We often tend to think of large sedans as something our fathers or grandfathers would find appealing. You see, today’s luxury car buyers don’t always want a big sedan. Something like an Audi A4 or BMW 3 Series will do just fine. While those are both fine choices, there are a few large sedans on the market today that are meant to be driven, and they go really, really fast. One such example is the 2013 Audi S8, a German-built modern missile that can spring from 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds thanks to its force-fed biturbo V8 that spits out over 500 horsepower.
Oh yes, it also comes equipped with Audi’s signature Quattro all-wheel drive system. At price of well over $100k, the S8 is anything but an old man’s car. No, it’s for wealthy enthusiasts who desire to go fast. Really fast.
