Check out the very first footage of the production-bound Sport Quattro concept.
First unveiled at Frankfurt 2013, the Audi Sport Quattro concept, unlike the Nanuk Quattro concept, is almost certainly destined for the showroom floor. Highly limited, of course, the Sport Quattro in production guise will carry a price tag that eclipses the range-topping Audi R8 V10 Plus and we suspect will run the same 700-hp plug-in hybrid powerplant. That’s a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 (as seen in the RS6) paired with an electric motor and eight-speed tiptronic box, good for a 3.7-second 0-62 mph run, 189 mph top speed and an astonishing 94.1 mpg.
To celebrate the Audi AG’s Facebook page receiving 100,000 likes, the carmaker has released a video of the Sport Quattro in action. If you like what you see, then $200,000 should be enough to secure the "legitimate successor" to the 1984 original.
