Audi Teases A3 Sedan Before NY

Teaser

Audi prepares to take on the Mercedes CLA with a sedan version of the A3 to debut at the New York Auto Show next week.

Audi’s being a little cheeky ahead of the upcoming New York Auto Show. It’s launching a new video channel called Audi MediaTV, but the bigger news is what’s under that tarp. What we’re anticipating is the new A3 sedan that will fight arch-rival Mercedes’ new CLA-Class, which itself will debut in AMG spec at the Manhattan show as well. The Americanized version of the A3 hatchback will slot below the A4, applying what promises to be a similar design to a more compact form.

We’ll have to wait until next week to see it for sure, but you can get an advance look at what appears to be a rather cool-looking interior in the video below, and get an idea of the car’s overall shape from the veiled form.
