Most of the news we've been hearing about autonomous cars so far has come from either Toyota or that titan of the automotive industry, Google. It isn't an area where Audi has really made a name for itself, but since it has made quite a name in racing, it's fitting the carmaker has now teased an autonomous race car. The car is based on the RS7, which is certainly no slouch in any form, and this one is said to lap Hockenheim in just over 2 minutes.

This video doesn't really show much, it being a teaser, but we're expecting something much more intense in the near future.
