The Super Bowl is one of the most-watched television events of the year, so it is the perfect chance for automakers and other companies alike to get the most eyes on their latest commercials. We've already seen what FCA is going to show for its Super Bowl commercial and now Audi has revealed its advertisement online. The ad is called 'Cashew,' and it shows off Audi's future plans for the next five years.

It starts off with a man meeting up with his grandfather, who proceeds to take him into the barn where his cars are stored. He pulls a tarp off one of the cars to reveal the Audi e-tron GT, an all-electric concept car which was revealed at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show.

The e-tron GT is the star of the commercial, even though it won't enter production until 2020. Our protagonist gets to sit in the stunning concept car for a few seconds before being woken up by a coworker in his office. As it turns out, the entire sequence with his grandfather is only part of a hallucination caused by him choking on a cashew nut. Audi then posts up some text on the screen saying, 'A thrilling future awaits. On Earth. One third of all new Audi models will be electrified by 2025.'

This announcement is nothing new but Audi does give us a little teaser at the end of the ad. The final shot shows three cars, two of which are hidden under covers. The middle car is clearly the e-tron SUV, which will be arriving in dealers later this year. The car on the left appears to be a smaller SUV, which is likely the sub-e-tron model we will see in concept form at this year's Geneva Motor Show. So what about the car on the right?

Well, based on the headlights, that appears to be the Audi PB18 e-tron Concept, a 764 horsepower electric supercar with a 0-60 mph time of just two seconds. Audi has said the PB18 would enter a limited production with just 50 units produced. While most automakers want to show off their latest products in commercials, Audi has us excited for its upcoming e-tron models.
