Audi has been churning out new models and concepts in the last year, mostly with a focus on EV tech, and we couldn't be more excited. Back in July of 2021, the German manufacturer teased three completely different concepts known as the Skysphere, Grandsphere, and Urbansphere, and promised all three would be fully revealed in 2022. In August and September of 2021 we got to learn a bit more about the Skysphere and Grandsphere as they were revealed in full, and last week we finally got a sneak peek of the Urbansphere. Now the brand has released a teaser video of the upcoming Urbansphere, and a date: April 19.

Audi plans to use the Urbansphere as a showcase for what the brand has in plan over the next few years, and promises to show off a number of advanced tech systems and some crazy design elements. From what we've seen so far, we know that the Grandsphere has a GT-style body design reminiscent of the Audi A8, and the Urbansphere looks to be more of a crossover SUV with hints of the Audi Q8. In the opening scene of the video, we get to see a dramatic start-up sequence that shows off the Urbanshpere's elaborate lighting system and futuristic front grille complete with glowing Audi rings and a rear light bar with glowing honeycombs. The video continues to show Prima ballerina Yuan Yuan Tan relaxing in the back of the Urbansphere.

From what we can see, the Urbansphere concept features a spacious cabin that looks like a business lounge at any major airport and even shows off what seems to be a coffee dispenser. The Urbanspherewill definitely be fully electric, and judging by the focus on the backseat area, we're going to go out on a limb and say that this concept will feature a high level of advanced autonomous driving tech.

All we know is that the range of Sphere concept cars is one of the more exciting things coming out of the depths of Audi's research and development department, and April 19 can't come fast enough.
