In the last year, Audi Sport's hardcore RS model lineup has expanded with three new models: the long-requested RS6 Avant performance wagon, the all-new RS7 Sportback, and the first-ever RS Q8 SUV. Now, Audi has announced that sales of all three hot RS performance models have started in the US for the 2021 model year.

For 2021, the Audi RS6 Avant is available in America for the first time following high demand for the high-performance wagon to launch Stateside. Power is provided by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine producing 591 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, propelling the high-performance wagon from 0-62 mph in just 3.5 seconds.

Pricing for the RS6 Avant starts at $109,000. To celebrate RS6 Avant's US debut, Audi is also selling an RS Tribute special edition variant. Limited to 25 units, the special-edition RS6 Avant pays tribute to the 1994 RS2 Avant with unique exterior and interior treatments, including Nogaro Blue exterior paint, a grille with black accents, and a rear diffuser.

Starting at $114,000, the 2021 Audi RS7 Sportback returns to the US market updated with Audi's new striking RS design language. Compared to the standard A7, the RS7 has a lowered stance, more aggressive styling, and flared wheel arches that make it almost an inch wider on each side. Under the hood is a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that generates 591 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, enabling a 0-62 mph sprint time of 3.6 seconds. Pricing for the RS6 Avant and RS7 exclude the $1,045 destination charge.

Last but not least is the RS Q8, a hardcore version of Audi's flagship Q8 SUV that combines the performance of an Audi RS model with the practicality of an SUV and sleek coupe-inspired styling. Powering this beast is the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 found under the hood of the Lamborghini Urus and Bentley Bentayga that produces a colossal 591 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque.

Thanks to this setup, the Audi RS Q8 is the fastest production SUV to lap the Nurburgring with a time of seven minutes and 42.2 seconds. Pricing for the 2021 RS Q8 starts at $114,500 plus a $1,095 destination charge, which is $1,500 more than the 2020 model.
