The Aventador LP720-4 50th Anniversary Edition followed the Veneno in celebrating Lamborghini's half-century in the business, with the Bolognese carmaker revealing the limited edition model in a bright shade of Giallo Maggio yellow. Other distinguishing marks included a redesigned aero package, an additional 20 horsepower, a unique interior and a price tag that's $100k more than the stock Aventador. While production is limited to 100 units, it appears that Lamborghini also has plans to introduce a roadster variant of the special edition model.

LamboCars.com reports that at a gala dinner held after the Grande Giro from Milan to Bologna, Lamborghini showcases a trio of special edition models: the aforementioned 50th Anniversary Aventador, a white Gallardo LP560-2 50th Anniversary edition (which we hope to hear more about soon), and this: the Aventador LP720-4 Roadster finished in Grigio Titans grey with a Terra Emilia leather interior. The 50th Anniverario logo and "Series Speciale 00/100" was seen engraved on the dashboard, so it appears there will 200 50th Anniversary Aventadors made in total, with the roadster variant priced $150,000 over the stock drop-top.
