The new Acura NSX is one great looking car that has a fair amount of power on tap thanks to a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 and a trio of electric motors that combine to produce 573 horsepower. This is enough to get the NSX up to 60 mph in a quick 2.9 seconds. It's a pricey car, but it is still available for less money than others at its spec and performance level. Lamborghini's Aventador has been around for a few years now and can be had in a few different special editions, the latest being the limited edition Centenario.

The all-wheel drive supercar has a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 with 690 horsepower available. All those horses propel it from zero to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds, just like the NSX. So, with identical 0-60 times which car wins in a drag race?

It's pretty impressive how well both cars fare and the results are a little surprising. The guys over at The Exotic Revolution staged the race on a quiet road in the middle of nowhere, so while the police might not like it the reality is that no one else was around in case things messed up. We'd love to see this race staged on a drag strip with a proper stage and Christmas tree so that we could see reaction times and quartermile times and speeds, but we'll take what we can get. The Lamborghini is said to be able to eat up the quarter mile in 10.6 seconds and the NSX can do it in 10.8 seconds, so someone messed up a little in this video, but a sleepy driver is no reflection on the car's capabilities. Did you think this would have been the result?
