If you've ever wanted to be Batman but don't have the money to build a secret lair or the murdered parents to motivate you to fight crime then you're in luck. A Batpod from Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight" and "The Dark Knight Rises" is going up for auction in the UK by the Prop Store. The custom motorcycle was used in the filming of both movies and in the promotion of them as well. It's expected to fetch between £60,000-£80,000 ($80,000 - $106,000) when it goes up for sale.

That's not a bad price to pay for a piece of movie history that isn't all that far away from being rideable. Although the bike is being sold as a roller it doesn't need a ton of work to get it going. To become Batman you'll need to: put in fresh fluids (all fluids have been drained), install new throttle controls, a new gas tank and battery. That's not a lot of work at all, especially since the end result is a fully functional and badass Batpod. Powering the bike is a 750cc engine sourced from Honda and the rubbers are 31" Hoosier racing tires. The body is fiberglass. The auction kicks off at the end of September so start putting in your loan applications now.
