Volkswagen has revealed the latest in a long line of special edition Beetles at AMI Leipzig. Dubbed the Beetle Cabriolet Karmann, the special model celebrates coachbuilder Karmann who built numerous custom droptop Beetles for VW between 1949 and 1980. Distinguishing features include 18-inch "Disc" alloys with chrome caps, a Sioux Brown power folding soft top, special badging, two-tone sports seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and alloy pedals.

It also boasts a matte aluminum dashboard, Karmann-branded door sill plates, and a Park Pilot parking distance monitor. Available in seven colors and all engine-gearbox combinations, the Beetle Cabriolet Karmann will be available to order next month.
